Beertails: Good for What Ales You

Ingredients 2 oz. Dickel No. 12 .25 oz. apple shrub .5 oz. lemon .5 oz. sorghum syrup 12 drops of angostura bitters 1 oz. wheat beer 1 orange peel Preparation Combine Dickel, apple shrub, lemon, sorghum syrup and bitters in shaker and shake. Strain into glass with ice. Top with wheat beer. Garnish with orange peel. (Rolf and Daughters)

Ingredients two dashes of Tabasco dash of fresh lime juice ½ oz. Tequila Tecate Beer 1 lime wedge Preparation Add Tabasco, lime juice and tequila in a pint glass filled with ice. Top with Tecate. Rim glass halfway with salt. Garnish with lime wedge. (Ditch Plains)

Ingredients 1 lemon wedge 4 oz. ginger ale ½ oz. honey simple syrup 1 bottle of honey wheat ale Preparation Make honey simple syrup by obtaining 4 parts honey and 1 part hot water. Heat honey and water gently in saucepan over medium-low heat until mixture reaches a simmer. Remove from heat and cool. Squeeze lemon ledge and drop into a pilsner or pint glass.
