Selena Gomez has taken the Instagram crown from her best friend.
The singer-actress has officially become the most-followed person on the social media platform, edging out her BFF, Taylor Swift, with an impressive 69.4 million followers.
Swift has 69.3 million followers.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Following Swift are Kim Kardashian, with 63.6 million followers, and the "Queen B," Beyoncé rounding off the top four at 63 million.
Gomez’s achievement follows a few days after the Colombian singer Maluma became the first Latin male artist to hit 10 million followers on Instagram.
