Her love life may be the talk of tabloid fodder, but Selena Gomez’s professional life has reached a new high point.
The triple threat starlet achieved one of the most coveted milestones in the music industry on Monday when her single "Come & Get It" climbed to the No. 1 spot on the charts.
The minute Gomez heard the news, she took to Twitter to thank her fans.

Gomez also followed up the tweet by sharing a link to a video showing her emotional reaction when she learned she was topping the charts.
“That’s amazing!” Gomez says in the video.

Her voice still shaking, Gomez, whose new album Stars Dance comes out July 23, went on to thank her fans.
“I’ve done four records and this is the first No. 1 that I’ve ever had so I can’t not thank you guys enough….I love you all.”
