In August 2012, Joey the pit bull was tossed from a car in a garbage bag in Long Island. Found crying and weighing only 10 lbs, he was paralyzed in all limbs due to three broken vertebrate. Given a 50/50 chance of surviving and an even lower chance of ever walking again, Joey was nursed to health and has made an amazing recovery!
