Operation That's My Dress

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Military teens, female service members and spouses experience unique challenges related to military life with frequent moves, deployments, and adapting to new homes and communities. The Operation That’s My Dress experience is just one of the many ways the USO makes every moment count for troops and their families.

The USO provides thousands of new gowns/dresses to teenage girls, female service members and spouses from international fashion designer, SHERRI HILL, among other notable designers in the fashion world just in time for the homecoming and prom seasons, military balls and the holidays. The event begins with a private Fashion Show, featuring professional models and entertainment by the USO Show Troupe. The event also typically features a Beauty Bar with jewelry and fashion accessories for participants to get a complete look from head to toe! A Dress Expo, filled with hundreds of dress options, opens after the Fashion Show and includes hair and makeup demonstrations, consultations with beauty pageant contestants and celebrity stylists.
