Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Split Over Scientology, Report Says

Did Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony break up over Scientology?

According to entertainment news watchdog ShowbizSpy.com, J.Lo wanted to send her and Marc’s three-year-old twins Max and Emme to a "specialist Scientology school," but that Marc was not crazy about that plan.

“Jennifer and Marc couldn’t see eye-to-eye on the subject,” an anonymous source told ShowbizSpy.com

“She’s always been more into the church than him. He wasn’t a huge fan and it caused problems,” said the source.

Lopez, who attended Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding, revealed to South Florida’s NBC Channel 6 station that her father has been a scientologist for over 20 years, has defended the religion on multiple occasions.

“It's weird people want to paint it in a negative way," Lopez said when asked about the superstars’ wedding extravaganza and faith back in Jan. of 2007.

“It's just sad that people would look at Scientology in that way."
