Hollywood Bachelors Who Just Can't Commit

There are few things you can count on in this life more than George Clooney’s eternal bachelor status. Indeed, if obtaining hot cocktail waitress’ phone numbers were an Olympic sport, Clooney, 48, would be the ultimate gold-medalist. He’s now linked to TV personality Elisabetta Canalis, who reportedly gabbed to her pals that her ultimate goal was to hook old Clooney. And that’s quite a feat considering other lofty accomplishments in her career, including playing a topless nun in the 2007 film “Virgin Territory.”

Leonardo DiCaprio,34, seems to have a penchant for dating super models and then breaking their hearts. He recently split with Bar Rafaeli after years of dating Gisele Bundchen. And while he is rumored to be back with Bar again, he was recently snapped in Ibiza viewing a bevy of topless beauties in photos that should give every woman hope – at least they’re not dating him!   (AP)

Jamie Foxx (center) skyrocketed to Hollywood’s A-list with his Oscar-winning role as Ray Charles in his biopic. And since then, Foxx, 41, has played the role of the ultimate bachelor, dating a slew of beautiful models and sweeping them off their feet with such charming gestures as pouring vodka in their mouths. 

Scottish star Gerard Butler, 39, has become one of Hollywood’s hottest bachelors since his rumored link to Jennifer Aniston.  The “300” star recently griped to FOXNews.com about his problem deciding whether or not he wanted a smart woman. "Sometimes along the way in my life I don't want a smart woman right now, I want a dumb woman. But then you think, that doesn't work, now I want a smart woman. Then you get a smart woman and you go no, that doesn't work so it's just killing me right now." Good luck ladies.

Mario Lopez, most famous for his role as AC Slater on “Saved by the Bell” has always been one of Hollywood’s most infamous womanizers. Lopez, 35, has dated countless beautiful women and for a brief moment in time, it seemed he was ready to commit to Ali Landry (remember the Doritos girl?). The two were married in a lavish ceremony that was even taped for  a segment on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” but in a shocking twist, Landry learned of Lopez engaging in some extramarital activities, just DAYS later. The couple split and Lopez has been back breaking hearts ever since.

Hip Hop mogul Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, 39, has broken quite a few famous hearts over the years. The notorious male diva's wandering eye is rumored to be the reason Jennifer Lopez left him. Lopez later dated Ben Affleck - who reportedly cavorted with strippers before their scheduled wedding - and married Marc Anthony, whose first wife complained that he couldn't stay faithful. You KNOW it's bad when those two are the better alternative, Diddy!

John Mayer, 31, has quite an impressive girlfriend resume. The slightly unkempt musician has been linked to Jennifer Love Hewitt, Minka Kelly, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Aniston. But Mayer is an expert at playing the rock star role of loving and leaving. And beware ladies, in addition to his womanizing ways, he has been rumored to break a few male hearts as well, just ask Perez Hilton, who claims the two made out! (AP)

Simon Cowell, 49, may be America's favorite nasty Brit, but the music mogul is also quite the international playboy! When Cowell split with the beautiful Terri Seymour, tabloids claimed it was a result of his refusal to commit to her in any way after years together. And it seems those tight T-shirts he loves to rock gives him a special way with the ladies -- he was also rumored to have been cheating on Terri with a handful of other women. While few know the real truth, Simon's multi-million dollar bachelor pad suggests he's not all that upset about his single status.

Football mega-star Tony Romo, 29, is making a name for himself off the field as one of the most notorious bachelors. Not only did he once date (and dump?) singing sensation Carrie Underwood, but the handsome athlete also reportedly dumped down-on-her-luck beauty Jessica Simpson the night before her 29th birthday. The reason? Well, he was rumored to be sick of her clingy ways. And he made no secret of his satisfaction with his singledom - he was spotted partying with several good-looking ladies the night after his split with Jess. Ouch!

If ever there was a symbol of bachelorship, it would surely be 1980s rocker Bret Michaels. The blonde heartthrob makes no secret of his years of debauchery and womanizing, but he recently decided to air it for the world to see with his VH1 series “Rock of Love.” The show features some of the trashiest ladies of the small screen who do such crazy things as tattoo Bret’s name on their neck to vie for his love as well as competing in stripper and groupie themed games. But don't expect Bret, 46, to commit -- the rock star has gone through several seasons of the show and doesn't seem ready to settle down any time soon. (AP2008)

Funnyman Vince Vaughn has been Hollywood hunk since the days of "Clerks" and has made a career of playing the snide bachelor and unfaithful husband. The 39-year-old comedian is currently engaged to real estate developer Kyla Weber, but don't count him out just yet. After all, he seemed to be happily involved with America's sweetheart Jennifer Aniston for two years before their sudden, unexplained split. We'll just have to stay tuned.
