The story of this classic sitcom (which aired from 1977 to 1984) revolved around three roommates of mixed genders (scandalous!). Janet Wood (Joyce DeWitt), Chrissy Snow (Suzanne Somers) and Jack Tripper (John Ritter) shared Apartment 201 in a Santa Monica, California building owned by the Ropers, and later managed by Ralph Furley (Don Knotts). It would be great to see ‘Brothers and Sisters’ star Sally Field drop the drama and get back to comedy! She’d be an adorable Mrs. Roper. Jeffrey Tambor actually played a neighbor in ‘The Ropers,’ so he already knows the character. Also, he’s hilarious. He'd just need a decent comb-over rug.
