Start off with our slideshow of "Figure Friendly" and "Mannequin Only" looks from the first day of Fashion Week, and check out the rest of our style and celebrity coverage. <b>TODAY'S STYLE COVERAGE</b> <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/entertainment/2009/09/12/designer-day-yigal-azrouel">DESIGNER OF THE DAY: Yigal Azrouel</a> <a href="http://entertainment.blogs.foxnews.com/2009/09/11/fox411-exclusive-bachelorette-jillian-harris-hits-fashion-week-with-wrong-bachelor/">FOX411 Fashion Week Gossip: Jillian hits the tents with the wrong bachelor!</a> <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,548982,00.html">FOX EXCLUSIVE: "Project Runway" star Tim Gunn's Guide to Shopping on a Budget</a> <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/entertainment/2009/09/09/fall-fashion-trends">FOX EXCLUSIVE: The top trends for fall, hand-picked by FOX News' Fashion Director</a> <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/slideshow/entertainment/2009/09/10/sex-city-films-new-york">PHOTO FUN: Your favorite fictional fashionistas - the ladies of "Sex and the City" - film the sequel in New York City.</a>

When you look in the mirror and think to yourself, 'Would Lady GaGa wear this?' it's probably a look that's not quite figure friendly. Or sensible. Or warm. Or comfortable ... (Photo: Jenni Kayne Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

Is that a sweater-vest pinned over a bra? With pleated jeans? Yea, that's pretty much a signed, sealed, delivered look for the mannequins only. And this girl too, apparently. (Photo: LAMB 2010 Spring Collection - AP) ( )

This Elie Tahari look, with some adjustments, would look good on several different shapes. And the good news is we probably have those shorts somewhere in the back of our closet. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

This neon, futuristic look is certainly interesting, but we aren't so sure it would translate from runway to ready to wear. But hey, if you're up for it, why not? (Photo: BCBG Spring 2010 Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

This stunning orange dress from Tahari is one of our favorite looks so far and would look great on women of all ages and shapes. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

This long flowing look from BCBG is a universally flattering look that would look great on thin or curvy fashionistas alike. (Photo: BCBG Spring 2010 - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

This skintight purple dress from BCBG is undeniably hot, but when a dress looks dangerously short on the 6-foot-tall model, it probably isn't made for most of us. Can we get just a little more fabric, please? (Photo: BCBG Spring 2010 Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

This modern take on a casual skirt and sweater combo adds a splash of color while keeping its sophistication and versatility. And it's the perfect shape for so many different kinds of women. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

This stunning white dress with slim belt is a beautiful look for Spring that can work on several different kinds of women. The length and cut offer a timeless versatility while the pattern of the fabric adds an interesting take to a simple, classic look. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

Are those high-waisted tighty-whities? Yea, we think this one pretty much speaks for itself. (Photo: Duckie Brown 2010 Spring Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

This fashion-forward look from BCBG is the perfect, colorful alternative for the little black dress. But what we love is the shape and silhouette of the dress that can be worn by women of different shapes and sizes. (Photo: BCBG Spring 2010 Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

This straight black dress is versatile and, depending on accessories, can work for day to night for several different shapes. (Photo: Davidelfin Spring 2009 Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

There isn't really much to be said about this one. It's fresh and avant-garde sure, but how many people do you know that could pull off two pieces of pretty fabric strategically draped to give the illusion of coverage.  We say go for it, daring fashionistas, but the rest of us probably need a little more to cover up what Bridget Jones so brilliantly called, "wobbly bits." We don't know about you, but we think we'll leave the see-through, seafoam green shirt and matching pants to the mannequins. (Photo: Davidelfin Spring 2010 Collection - Mercedes Benz Fashion Week)

We love orange. We love silk. But not combined on our pants. Let's leave this one for the mannequins. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)

This fashion-forward look is appealing, but only works on certain kinds of women. As for the rest of us, we're probably better off admiring from afar. (Photo: Elie Tahari Spring 2010 Collection - AP)
