Cuban actor Bobby Cannavale is starring in Broadway’s 1964 revival of “Funny Girl.”

The two-time Tony Award nominee will play the role of Nick Arnstein in the musical opposite Lauren Ambrose as Fanny Brice.

"Funny Girl" will begin previews at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles on Jan. 15 and is slated to close Feb. 26. It's expected to later hit Broadway, marking the first time there since the 1964 original production starring Barbra Streisand.

Cannavale was last seen on Broadway playing a recovering addict opposite Chris Rock in the Tony-nominated play "The Motherf----- With the Hat."

The new production of "Funny Girl" will be directed by Tony Award-winner Bartlett Sher.
