A vintage Ferrari used in Disney flick The Love Bug was put up for sale for a whopping $7.5 million today.
The red roadster – a 1956 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour De France — featured alongside humble Volkswagen Beetle “Herbie” in the 1968 film.
It is now one of the most expensive cars ever to come on the open market in England.
One of only nine models built by the Italian company, it has become one of the world’s most sought-after cars – selling for 15 times its value of 20 years ago.
With a top speed of 145mph, it picked up its Tour de France name thanks to its dominance in the famous ten-day road race.
