Russian Federal Security Service Punisher

<a href="http://www.themoscowtimes.com/business/article/punisher-vehicle-tested-for-security-forces/476481.html">The Moscow Times</a> reports that Russia's security service is currently road testing a new high performance truck for use in counter-terrorism, border patrol and internal security, menacingly called The Punisher. Built by armored vehicle specialist ZiL on a Kamaz chassis also used for Dakar Rally racing trucks, the 26,000-pound Punisher is powered by a 730 hp turbocharged diesel and has a top speed of 93 mph, likely making it the fastest vehicle of its type in the world. Its body features a mine-resistant V-shaped design and is protected against 7.62-mm rounds. (ZiL)

Very large bulletproof glass windows give up to 10 occupants a relatively panoramic view for an armored vehicle, while gullwing-style doors offer easy access to its configurable interior. (ZiL)

No word on when or where it will be deployed first, but it might not be too far from headquarters. The Punisher reportedly gets just 2.3 mpg. (ZiL)
