Porsche 918 Spyder Martini Racing edition

It may be the first prototype in history with a sponsor, certainly one that looks this good. In conjunction with the reveal of new information on its upcoming hybrid supercar, Porsche has wrapped the 918 Spyder in livery that recalls its most famous racing cars of the past.

The all-wheel-drive plug-in hybrid features a 4.6-liter V8 and two-electric motors good for a combined output of 770 hp and a fuel economy target of 78 mpg.

Porsche has set performance targets of 0-60 mph in less than three seconds, a top speed of over 200 mph and a lap of the benchmark 13-mile-long Nurburgring racetrack of 7:22 seconds, which would make it one of the fastest cars to ever lap the famous circuit.

The 918 Spyder goes on sale next year with a price of $845,000 and can be ordered with the Martini livery.
