Fox in The Fast Lane: Denny Hamlin back on track

NASCAR races under the lights Saturday night at the Toyota Owners 400 in Denny Hamlin is racing to get better, Kevin Harvick takes a spin around the White House, Chase Elliot races in the Cup Series again and remembering Steve Byrnes.
Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt Kenseth snaps a 51 race losing streak and gets the win at Bristol. Kenseth says every Gibbs car is a potential winner, and going into this week's race at Richmond Kenseth says, "hpefully we can build on that and, you know, we can get all the cars to Victory Lane a few more times before September.”
Denny Hamlin will race at Richmond after a neck and back spasm made it impossible for him to finish last week's race.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}President Obama welcomed Cup champion Kevin Harvick and the Stewart-Haas team to the White House this week and praised the driver on an amazing season:
“A win at Homestead capped a season where Kevin picked up five wins, led more laps than anybody on the grid,” the President noted.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}NASCAR mourning the loss of broadcaster Steve Byrnes who died this week at the age of 56, after a long bout with cancer. NASCAR chairman Brian France calling Byrnes a "true inspiration".
And XFINITY series champ, Chase Elliot makes its second Cup race start this weekend at Richmond.
