Lance Rios, an entrepreneur, is the brain behind Being Latino, a website which serves as a communication platform designed to educate, entertain and connect people across the global Latino spectrum.

Now Rios is launching Miller Lite Tap the Future, a business plan competition that will award $400K in development grants to the small businesses that shine the most. The winning team will win a grand prize of $250,000.

Rios along with highly regarded business experts, such as Daymond John from ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will select the best businesses and will provide valuable feedback through Live Pitch Events, where entrepreneurs will pitch their business “Shark Tank” style.

Tap the Future will hit Dallas, Chicago, Phoenix, Atlanta and Philadelphia in October where the top five businesses of each region will compete for a $20,000 and a chance to compete for the grand prize in the national finals.

Rios talked to Fox News Latino about the contest and how important entrepreneurship is to the Latino community.
