A postal worker outside Atlanta, Georgia, is now under criminal investigation after he was caught on video dumping mail in the woods, WSB-TV reported Thursday.

The U.S. Postal Service was notified about the incident, sending representatives who collected more than a dozen bins’ worth of mail addressed to thousands of different people. It is believed the unnamed worker may have been a part time employee.

The news station reported that it learned about the mail carrier after a viewer sent video and photos to one of its reporters.

“You have business statements, bank statements, very important mail that people are looking for and probably waiting for,” said Kellie Campbell, the president of a local homeowners association who recorded the video.

“I sat there and recorded for about 5 minutes. And he continued to just grab more mail and continued to just toss it over the fence,” Campbell continued.

The USPS reported it would deliver the missing mail as soon as possible.
