BARRE, Vt. – The latest in the case of a Vermont woman who police say fatally shot a social worker because she was upset about losing custody of her 9-year-old daughter. Police believe she also killed two cousins and an aunt (all times local):

Vermont Attorney General William Sorrell says it's still unclear where the woman charged with killing a state social worker will appear in court.
Sorrell says attorneys for 40-year-old Jody Herring filed a motion Sunday asking that she appear in court in Burlington.
But Sorrell says his office is asking that it be held Monday in Barre, not far from where police say Herring shot and killed Department for Children and Families social worker Lara Sobel on Friday as the woman left work.
Police say Herring was upset at losing custody of her 9-year-old daughter.
Sorrell says he expects to learn late in the morning whether the hearing will be in Barre or Burlington.
Police also believe Herring shot and killed three relatives before shooting Sobel. It's unclear if she will be charged in those cases.
Sorrell says Herring is expected to appear in court between 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday.
