Sean Weatherspoon's debut with the Cardinals is on hold.

Weatherspoon is still trying to recover from a hamstring injury he initially suffered at the beginning of the month.

"That's very discouraging right now is to know where he is as a football player having missed most of last year and all of this camp," Arians said, via ESPN.

The Cardinals inked Weatherspoon to a one-year deal in the offseason.

The Missouri product missed the entire 2014 season after rupturing his Achilles tendon, and just seven games in 2013 because of knee injury.

When healthy, however, he was a key cog in the Atlanta Falcons defense.

From 2010-12, he started 34 games and recorded 190 tackles, 13 pass deflections and eight sacks.
