East Rutherford, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Defensive end Jason-Pierre Paul and running back Brandon Jacobs were among five players the New York Giants listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Pierre-Paul is battling an illness that has kept him out of practice for each of the last two days. Jacobs, who ran for a season-best 106 yards and two touchdowns in place of the injured David Wilson during last week's 27-21 loss at Chicago, is dealing with a sore hamstring.
Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers (knee) was also held out of Saturday's practice and has been declared questionable as well. Tight end Adrien Robinson (foot) and rookie safety Cooper Taylor (shoulder) also are questionable, though both were limited participants on Saturday.
Wilson, who hurt his neck in New York's Week 5 loss to Philadelphia, has been ruled out for a second straight week along with cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring).
The winless Giants are expected to have cornerback Corey Webster and center David Baas back for the Monday night tilt. Webster has not played since Week 2 due to a groin strain, while Baas has missed the last three games with a neck issue. Both were termed probable on the final injury report.
Minnesota's most notable inclusion on its injury report was left offensive tackle Matt Kalil, considered a game-time decision for Monday's test after sitting out the last two practices with tightness in his lower back. J'Marcus Webb would likely draw the start in Kalil's place if the latter can't go.
Star running back Adrian Peterson missed Thursday's practice with a tight hamstring, but is probable to face the Giants. Former starting quarterback Christian Ponder (ribs) is also probable for Minnesota, but will serve as the backup to recent addition Josh Freeman in Monday's matchup.
