Colorado Rockies pitcher Roy Oswalt was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain on Monday.

Oswalt left Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks in the second inning. He uncorked a wild pitch with two outs in the bottom of the second, allowing Arizona to score the first run of the contest.

The 35-year-old right-hander signed a minor-league contract with Colorado on May 2. The team purchased Oswalt's contract on June 20 and he went 0-4 with a 7.64 earned run average in four starts.

The Rockies recalled outfielder Charlie Blackmon from Triple-A Colorado Springs to fill the roster spot. Over 12 games with Colorado this season, Blackmon is batting .240 with one home run and two RBI.
