Even a 25-game winning streak isn't enough to keep Heat from seeing some flaws in their game

MIAMI – The Heat are winners of 25 consecutive games, eight shy of matching the NBA's longest streak. They are about to finish wrapping up the No. 1 seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs. They lead the race for the league's best overall regular-season record.

All good things for Miami.

So imagine what could be happening if the Heat thought they were playing well.

To the Heat, it's like they are simultaneously streaking and slumping, after facing double-digit deficits in three consecutive games. They've trailed after five of their past six opening quarters, been losing at halftime in three straight outings and have been outshot in three of their last six contests.

Forward Shane Battier says it's clear, "we need to play better."

And they keep winning anyway.
