Morgan State will play a pair of FBS programs as part of its 2012 football schedule announced on Monday.

After kicking off its season at home against Sacred Heart on Sept. 1, the Bears will travel to Mid-American Conference schools Buffalo on Sept. 8 and Akron on Sept. 15.

Coach Donald Hill-Eley's squad, which went 5-6 last season, will host four Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opponents, North Carolina Central (Oct. 13, Homecoming), Delaware State (Oct. 27), Bethune-Cookman (Nov. 3) and Hampton (Nov. 17).

In addition, the Bears will play conference games at North Carolina A&T (Sept. 29), Savannah State (Oct. 6), Howard (Oct. 20) and Norfolk State (Nov. 10), the 2011 MEAC champion.
