Salma Hayek definitely comes to the rescue when her friends need her.

The sultry Mexican actress is willing to help fellow stunner Halle Berry in court with her tough custody battle.

Gossip hounds at TMZ are reporting that Berry’s attorneys filed a declaration from Hayek. In the declaration Hayek says she thinks Berry and her daughter Nahla should live in France because it is a much safer place due to the strict paparazzi laws enforced.

Hayek, who is married to French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, stated in the declaration that living in France has helped her quality of life with her daughter Valentina because she is not bombarded with swarming paparazzi the way she is when she travels to the United States.

Berry is looking to move to France with her fiancée, French-Spanish actor Oliver Martínez, because, as TMZ reports, she wants to flee the paparazzi and intruders stalking her her every move in her L.A. residence.

The news of Hayek’s declaration for Berry comes just as both actresses were spotted in Beverly Hills celebrating Berry’s 46th birthday.

Throngs of paparazzi lunged themselves at the actresses, who were accompanied by their significant others, the Daily Mail UK is reporting.

Berry donned a chic see-through, ruffled top with black pants, while Hayek opted for the conservative look in a skin-color ensemble.

In past years, Berry and Hayek have been spotted in France together taking Hayek’s daughter Valentina for walks near Hayek’s home.
