Sherri Shepherd is one step closer to being ordered to financially care for a child born via surrogate whom her soon-to-be ex-husband claims she wants nothing to do with.

On Tuesday, a Pennsylvania judge declared that after months of court battles, the former “View” co-host is the mother of the child she agreed to have with Lamar Sally.

“I want her to go on television and apologize the same way that she went on there and accused me of being a gold digger and tricking her into having a baby,” Sally told TMZ.

Shepherd, 47, didn’t attend the hearing, says the site. However, they may come face to face when child support terms are ironed out in court.

In September, it was reported that Shepherd paid $30,000 to an unidentified surrogate mother, who was left in a financial pickle after Shepherd refused to claim the then-unborn child.

Shepherd did offer Sally $150,000 at one point, but he refused it.

“I want her to co-parent with me like we agreed,” the 43-year-old former script writer told the Daily Mail. “Sherri is the one who initiated the surrogacy and we agreed to do this together, she wanted this child more than anything.”

The child, who was born August, is under Sally’s care in Los Angeles.

“All I can do is to take care of my son the best way I know how, but I feel sorry for Sherri,” Sally told the Daily Mail. “I don’t hate her or have any bitterness, but one day she is going to have to sit down and explain to LJ (Lamar Jr.) that she turned her back on him and I don’t know how she is going to do that.”

Sally and Shepherd called it quits in May 2014.
