{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A U.K. woman has been attacked with bleach by two men who broke into her home and fled with jewelry and cash, police say, Sky News reported.
The 31-year-old woman was at home with her young child in Langwathby, near Penrith yesterday when intruders broke in between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time.
Police say that two men with Polish and Liverpool accents launched the attack, in which bleach was poured over the woman's hands.

Police are trying to locate the owner of a dark crew-cab 4x4 seen in the area earlier in the day.
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Forrester, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is a particularly nasty incident on a lone female and the level of violence used was extreme and unnecessary."
