Thai official: Lao military plane with defense chief, 19 others crashes; casualties unknown
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Thailand's Foreign Ministry says a Laos air force plane believed to be carrying 20 people including the country's defense minister has crashed in Laos.
The spokesman, Sek Wannamethee, says he was not confirmed if there were any casualties from the Saturday morning crash.
He says he was informed of the accident by authorities in neighboring Laos.
