Teacher at top UK girls school accused of making anti-Semitic comment to misbehaving student
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}An alleged anti-Semitic incident involving a teacher and a student is being investigated at one of Britain's most prestigious all-girl schools.
The North London Collegiate School says it has sought legal advice and taken "appropriate action" after receiving reports of an "offensive statement" made by a staff member.
The school's administrators and the public relations firm handling the incident on their behalf have not denied reports in the Mail on Sunday newspaper that a teacher told a Jewish student she would be sent to "one of your gas chambers" if she did not behave.

Mark Gardner of the Jewish community group Community Security Trust said it was a "very upsetting" incident.
