{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Grieving family members have laid to rest a Honduran beauty queen and her sister who were slain last week in what police say was a jealous rage by the sister's boyfriend.
The 19-year-old Miss Honduras, Maria Jose Alvarado, and her 23-year-old sister Sofia were interred Thursday in two cement graves at a cemetery north of the victims' hometown of Santa Barbara.
About 300 people including mourners and security forces trudged through the mud for the ceremony.

Organizers of the Miss World beauty pageant planned a special service Sunday to remember the sisters and pray for the family.
