Sectarian clashes in Pakistan between Sunni and Shiite Muslims kill 5 people
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police in central Pakistan say five people have been killed in sectarian clashes between Sunni and Shiite Muslims.
Police official Abdullah Khan says the clashes between members of a radical Sunni group, Ahle Sunnat Waljamaat, and minority Shiites happened Friday in the town of Bhakkar in Punjab province. The clashed followed a protest rally held by the Sunnis after one of their members was gunned down while closing his shop.
Khan says people were killed on both sides.
