Pregnancy test posted on Reddit reveals testicular cancer
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}An online joke may have saved a New York man's life after his friend posted a "rage comic" to Reddit on his positive pregnancy test.
According to Fox News, the man came across an unused pregnancy test left by his ex-girlfriend at his home.
As a joke, he decided to take the test by urinating on the strip, only to get a positive result.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Pregnancy tests, Fox points out, measure levels of beta human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) in urine — a same hormone associated with testicular cancer in men.
A doctor confirmed the man had a tumor on his right testicle.
According to Australia's Murdoch media, the man submitted a web comic illustrating his "funny" positive test to Reddit and the post drew more than 1000 comments.

CappnPoopdeck was a young woman living in Hamilton, Ontario, who said her 18-year-old friend is the one who had taken the test.
According to AdelaideNow.com.au, a reader alerted him to the potential downside of testing positive.
