Police arrest 2 suspected members of jihadist cell prepared to carry out attacks in Spain
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Spanish Interior Ministry says police have arrested two people in the north African enclave of Ceuta on suspicion of belonging to a jihadi terror cell and who were prepared to carry out attacks in Spain.
A ministry statement said Tuesday the arrests were connected to the detention of 4 others belonging to the same cell Jan. 24.
The statement said two houses are being searched. The case is being coordinated by the National Court in Madrid.
