Pakistan: 'all indicators' confirm US killed Taliban leader
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The foreign affairs adviser to Pakistan's prime minister says "all indicators" confirm that Taliban chief Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed in a U.S. drone strike in the country's southwest while travelling under a false name with a fake Pakistani identity document.
At a news briefing Thursday, Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan was awaiting the DNA test results, after which his body will be handed to his relatives.
Aziz condemns the strike, calling it a violation of Pakistan's sovereignty. He says that "we have conveyed our serious concern to the United States on this issue."
