Greek police arrest 16 protestors at Turkish embassy

Greek authorities have arrested 16 Kurdish protesters for allegedly throwing eggs and other projectiles at the Turkish embassy in central Athens.

A police statement says all the detainees would be led to a prosecutor later Thursday to be charged.

No injuries or damage to the building was reported, and the cause of the protest was not immediately clear.
