German police nabs suspected far-right extremists

Police say officers have raided the homes of 18 suspected far right supporters and seized several weapons.
Police in western North Rhine-Westphalia state said Wednesday three of the suspected extremists were arrested.
German news agency dapd reports that more than 100 police officers searched 20 homes across the state.

Germany was shaken last year by the discovery of a small neo-Nazi terror group that carried out bank robberies and killed nine immigrants and a policewoman since 1998.
