Facebook has refused to remove photos of murdered woman Hollie Gazzard posing with her killer ex-boyfriend, igniting outrage by her family, BBC reports.
Gazzard’s father Nick has condemned Facebook’s decision, saying the nine visible photos of Gazzard and ex-boyfriend Asher Maslin are causing her family “distress,” he told the BBC.
Maslin stabbed the 20-year-old hairdresser 14 times last year at a salon in Gloucester. He was sentenced to life in prison for the attack.

Nick has reached out to Facebook about taking down the photos, but the website told the BBC it’s “unable” to make changes to a profile once it’s been memorialized following someone's death.
"Their policy is wrong but I am not hopeful they will change their minds,” Nick told the Mirror. "It makes me feel sick when I look at those photos, and to be truthful I try not to go into her Facebook site as I get quite distressed by it.”
He has been advised to withdraw the copyright of the photographs and ask for specific pictures to be removed.

Security footage showed Maslin buying a knife before he stabbed her in front of horrified customers and colleagues.
"It is such a loss now not to have her around. It was like a light bulb going on when she came in,” Nick said, according to the Mirror. "She was the life and soul of every party that she went to."
