Emirati leader in Warsaw to deepen cooperation with Poland

The prime minister of the United Arab Emirates has met with the Polish president during a visit to Warsaw in which the two countries are seeking greater cooperation in the areas of tourism, agriculture, higher education and scientific research.

Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , who is also the emir of Dubai, met on Monday with Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski.

The Polish president's office said that Mohammed would also lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Polish leaders hope to increase investments by the UAE in Poland. Trade between the two countries amounted to $1.3 billion last year.
