Cyprus' main airport evacuated after telephone call about suspicious package
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Cyprus' communications minister says the island's main airport in Larnaca has been ordered evacuated after a telephone call to police warning of a possible bomb.
Marios Demetriades told the Associated Press Tuesday that the caller spoke of a "suspicious package" inside one of the airport's washrooms.
Demetriades said police are now conducting a sweep of the airport.
