China arrests Korean-American aid worker running vocational school in North Korean border town
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The lawyer for a Korean-American aid worker working in a Chinese city near the North Korean border says his client has been arrested.
The arrest suggests that authorities are increasingly sensitive about activities by foreigners in the region.
Shanghai-based lawyer Zhang Peihong said he was notified Friday by prosecutors in China's northeastern Yanbian prefecture that Peter Hahn, a Christian who ran a vocational school for Chinese and Korean youth, was arrested on charges of embezzlement and possession of fake invoices.

Zhang says no trial date has been set.
