British Police Reportedly Nab Kickboxer in Former U.S. Marine's Murder

The body of 23-year-old Dashawn Longfellow, a former U.S. marine, was found at the Yanui Paradise Resort with several stab wounds in his chest.

LONDON -- The Sun newspaper says police have arrested a British kickboxer sought in connection with the slaying of a former U.S. Marine in Thailand.

Thai authorities had named 27-year-old Lee Aldhouse as the prime suspect in the stabbing death of Dashawn Longfellow, 23, who was vacationing on the island of Phuket. Police in Thailand said Aldhouse reportedly killed Longfellow after being beaten by the Marine during a brawl at a local bar.

The Sun said Tuesday that Aldhouse was caught at London's Heathrow Airport as he flew in from Singapore.

Scotland Yard confirmed that a 27-year-old British man had been arrested at Heathrow on August 18. The agency refused to answer questions about any possible extradition to Thailand.
