Bomb blast in crowded market kills 3, injures 15 in India
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A crude bomb exploded Wednesday in a crowded market in northeastern India, killing at least three people and injuring 15 others, police said.
A police official in Imphal, the capital of Manipur state, said the blast occurred when the market was crowded with shoppers. It killed two tea sellers and the owner of a shop selling chicken, he said.
The official spoke on condition of anonymity, citing office policy.
