Berlin police say robber in brazen bank tunnel heist used fake Dutch ID card
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Berlin police say a man suspected of brazenly tunneling into a city bank's safety deposit room used a fake Netherlands identity card to rent an underground parking spot nearby.
Authorities released a photo Tuesday of the man, appearing to be in his 20s with short brown hair and glasses. The garage operator said he spoke German with a foreign accent, and was about 1.75-meters to 1.85 meters (6 feet) tall.
Police last week released a sketch of a suspected accomplice — a stocky man in his 30s — also suspected of digging the 45-meter (150-foot) tunnel into the bank and getting away with an undisclosed haul Jan. 13.
