Austria's President Jumps From Plane
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}VIENNA -- Austria's president was in free fall -- and no, it was not about a loss in popularity.
President Heinz Fischer's office has released a video of the 73-year-old head of state jumping in tandem from a military helicopter and dangling from a parachute after what his office says was a 50-second free fall before safely touching down.
The jump took place in September during a military exercise, and Fischer -- the commander in chief of Austria's military -- clearly enjoyed it.
