A lawyer says he has no idea why his client is being named as a suspect in a Pittsburgh cookout ambush last month that killed five adults and an unborn child.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A detective testified at a bond hearing Thursday, as first reported by KDKA-TV, that Robert Thomas has been told he's a suspect in the March 9 shootings in Wilkinsburg. The judge then revoked Thomas' bond on grounds he's a flight risk and danger to the community.
Thomas was arrested Wednesday on drug and weapons charges stemming from a police search three years ago.
Thomas' defense attorney says he's not sure why Thomas is being called a suspect in the killings.

Allegheny County Detective Steve Hitchings testified Thursday, as first reported by KDKA-TV, that Robert Thomas has been told he's a suspect in the March 9 shootings in Wilkinsburg. The judge then revoked Thomas' bond on grounds he's a flight risk and danger to the community.
Nobody's been charged in the shootings and Hitchings' testimony was the first time law enforcement has named a suspect.
