Suspect wanted on burglary, sex crimes charges shot dead in Mississippi after standoff

Authorities say a standoff in Hinds County has ended with the death of a suspect.
The standoff began about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday when a U.S. Marshals Task Force was serving a warrant at a home near Raymond.
Mississippi State Trooper Eric Henry tells local media outlets the man, whose name has not been released, came out of a closet with a shotgun and shots were fired.

Henry said the man was wanted in Georgia on burglary and sex crimes charges.
Additional details about the suspect and the shooting were not immediately available.
