{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say sheriff's deputies in Washington state used a Taser on an 11-year-old who refused to drop a knife.
The Spokesman-Review newspaper reports (http://goo.gl/EsoKse ) deputies were called to a store north of Spokane on Thursday morning where they were told a male was wearing a mask and holding a knife. Another caller said a juvenile with a mask was running toward an apartment complex.
The Spokane County Sheriff's Office said deputies saw the boy between apartment buildings, holding a knife with a six-inch serrated blade.

He was taken to a local hospital for a psychological evaluation.
No other details were immediately available.
