Some Incoming NYC Flights Delayed Due to Snow
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}NEW YORK -- New York City's metropolitan area airports are reporting up to two-hour delays due to the weather.
The Federal Aviation Administration's website says LaGuardia Airport's incoming flights are experiencing average delays of 1 hour and 34 minutes Friday morning.
Flights destined for Newark International Airport in New Jersey are delayed an average of 2 hours.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}At John F. Kennedy International Airport, departure and arrival delays are 15 minutes or less.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the airports' operator, says a total of 300 flights were canceled at the three airports, most in advance of the storm.
It says delays are mostly due to low cloud ceilings and snow.
