Rocket launcher, Tommy gun among weapons seized from California home
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Police in California were investigating Saturday after a major cache of weapons was found in a Sacramento home.
The arsenal included an assault rifle, multiple handguns and shotguns, a Tommy gun, a rocket launcher, and several hand grenades, as well as ammunition, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The weapons were found Wednesday, police said. Some of them were hidden behind a false wall inside the house.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Sacramento's Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit was called to the scene to ensure safety as police seized the guns.
The name of the homeowner has not yet been released.
