{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Oklahoma's state medical examiner's office says the man who led officers on a weeklong manhunt died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Amy Elliott, a spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, says Michael Vance Jr.'s death on Sunday was ruled a homicide. Elliott said Wednesday that a full report is still pending but could show how many times Vance was shot by officers.
Dashboard camera and helicopter footage released Tuesday depicts a fierce gun fight between state troopers and Vance, who was wanted for the killings of two relatives and the shootings of three law enforcement officers. Vance died in the shootout.
