Remnants of tropical storm barrel in to Arizona in second blast from Pacific to hit state
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Rain is falling in much of Arizona as the remnants of Tropical Storm Odile move across the state.
National Weather Service meteorologist Lee Carlaw in Tucson says overnight accumulations in southern Arizona range from a third of an inch to 2 inches.
Carlaw says some normally dry washes had flows late Tuesday and early Wednesday as a result of the storms passing through.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Light rain also is falling in the Phoenix area.
Storm activity is expected to pick up during the day, and much of Arizona is under flash flood watches.
