Officials say more than 15 Dayton police and Montgomery County Sheriff's cruisers escorted the funeral procession to prevent further violence.
Officials say a vehicle showed up to the procession with one occupant brandishing a gun. Officers chased the vehicle, but later terminated the pursuit.
Officials say they believe the violence was retaliation for Colvin's death.
